Did you know that we offer workshops?
This year we will be offering regular lampshade making workshops and may also offer seasonal workshops such as string-lantern making or Christmas decoration making.
Lampshade making workshops
Participants will each make a 25cm drum lampshade, which can be used for either a lamp base or ceiling pendant. The workshop is suitable for complete novices, but also includes plenty of tips and tricks to achieve a professional finish if you have already had a go yourself. Take home a beautiful hand crafted lampshade to add to your home decor.
All materials are provided, with a wide selection of fabric panels to choose from, but you are welcome to bring your own fabric if you prefer. (Most fabrics are suitable though raw silk and wool fabrics should be avoided – cotton or cotton blend fabrics are perfect. You will need a minimum size of 85cm wide x 25cm long – half a meter of fabric is plenty and gives you choice of pattern placement.) Workshops last approximately 2-2.5 hours. £35 per person.
The workshops take place in the shop at 44 Southside Street and attendees can enjoy 10% discount off all products (from both Gosh! & Absolutely and Rockpool Trading) during the workshop.
Christmas string lantern workshops
Participants will each make a string of 10 lanterns on a battery operated string of LED lights. All materials are provided with a good selection of festive fabrics so that you can make the perfect addition to your seasonal decor. Workshops last approximately 2 hours. £30 per person.

We can come to you in Plymouth or surrounding area if you have a suitable space. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Cancellations
Cancellations 14 days (or more) before the date of the workshop will be offered a full refund or an alternative workshop date. Cancellations less than 14 days before the event will be offered alternative workshop dates only. You can also transfer your place to another person if you provide us with details.
