‘Mayflower’ vintage lamp

Mayflower vintage lamp has a base made from a special edition sloe gin bottle made by Spode in the 1950s. The bottle features an image of the Mayflower in Plymouth Harbour on one side and Landing of the Pilgrims on the other. Someone has converted this commemorative bottle into a lamp shortly after its intended use. It is paired with a 25cm drum shade in a map themed fabric with North America as the featured location on the front of the shade. An unusual lamp with a local history theme. The base is in very good condition as was the cable which has been checked and tested and a new bulb holder and plug added. Total height of lamp including shade is 46cm
