Hiding in Plain Sight vintage lamp has a base made from wood and a turned banksia nut. A banksia nut is the large seed pod (a bit like a pine cone) produced by the Bull Banksia tree native to Australia. This lamp has likely been homemade towards the latter part of the 20th century. The base is paired with a 25cm drum shade in a multi animal print in sandy tones. A very unusual, tactile lamp. The base is in good condition and the lamp has been completely rewired. Total height of lamp including shade is 42cm.
